It can often be hard to know who to trust, especially when far from home, and with smaller organisations. To put you at ease we have listed our credentials below, with links to government and 3rd party webites, so you don't need to just take our word for it.

Welcome to our May newsletter for the Arajuno Road Project, as always we have been living through the constantly changing combination of sunshine and rain, although there seems to have been a bit more sunshine recently, I feel a storm brewing....

Hello Everyone,

2009 has already seen a lot of change, I swear that time goes faster on the equator, which is why your time at the project flew by (at least I think it did for most of you). We’ve said goodbye to our coordinator Beth, and wish her all the best in the future. As a result I’ve been back in Ecuador since mid-March and will be here until we have a new project manager. We are changing the set-up so that there is a manager just to deal with the administration side of the project and to always have 2 or 3 assistant coordinators to help with the schools.

We believe that volunteer projects should be as open as possible about where volunteer placement fees go. Volunteers are paying to offer their services and have a right to know how their contributions are distributed.
